Omg omg I just had the best idea ever. Post movie time, nick gets two cats. A bingus and a fat grey and white tabby. He got them cause he thought him and vail were a bit lonely just them traveling together so might as well.

He does the baby talk thing with both of the cats and Vail sometimes catches him. He bursts out laughing while nick is embarrassed and begging him not to tell anyone lmao.

i wish you would write a (pre canon) fic where after dragging vail on another adventure with him, they both get drunk and the feelings that nick buried deep within his heart are starting to surface and he's torn between bolting, like he's always done, or actually acting on them for once
