Nicolas Jaar released a surprise album titled 2012-2017 under his other alias A.A.L. (Against All Logic).

Much like the title of his opening track “This Old House Is All I Have,” the album is a nod to Jaar’s earlier club work - and it’s easily one of the best house albums released in recent years. It’s subtle, not showy, with a wide collection of dance tracks that keep it moving forward throughout the entire album.
