Family
Okay. Time to name the relevant players in this game, that brought them here.
Sophie Gabrielli. Chloe Jacobson. Marisa Carpender. Bernie Carpender. Tyrone Lopez. Nicole Lopez. Mariah Harding. Courtney Martin. Ryan McDonald.
The time is... 7th grade? For Sophie, Chloe, Marisa and Courtney. Ryan is 8th grade? Maybe 9th? All attending the same middle school, HMS. Except for Ryan, who is in a different district, but attending the alternative high school, HAHS.
Bernie is in 11th grade. His mother has just been arrested, his father is not really in the picture. He has a slacker step-father who is into drugs and rarely home, a 13 year old sister (who steals things), and a 4 year old younger brother. He is into drugs, which is largely from his mother, and also the neighborhood influence. Tyrone Lopez is his dealer. He attends the normal high school for his district, alongside Nicole.
Nicole Lopez is in 11th grade. She is dating Tyrone Lopez. She has been dating Tyrone for a long time. He is a drug dealer, so it is likely that she is into drugs as well. She’s hooked. Addicted. She is cheating on him with Bernie. Not sure how that happened or why. But Tyrone does not know about it. She attends the normal high school for her district.
Tyrone Lopez has already graduated. He is in his first year out of high school. He is not the top dog yet, but he’s getting there. He’s building his way up in the world of drugs. I’m not sure if he actually does drugs, or if he’s just going for money. Probably money. He’s smart. He’s going places. Also, he lives with his mother. He’s going places. And his girlfriend, who is two years younger than him, is cheating on him.
Mariah Harding is a senior. Her brother is in 8th grade. She is now attending the alternative high school. She meets Ryan McDonald there, and later agrees to raise his child. She is on a better path due to this high school, and is on her way to getting out of a situation at home. Her parents are over protective, and put very high standards on her, and it is likely that there is severe punishment if she does not live up to them. Her brother is having a hard time at school, and is hiding things (aka Sophie and her hero thing, and probably that entire relationship) from the family. She wants to get out of the house because she feels like she is not appreciated, and she is very overly stressed. She makes a friend out of Ryan, and wants to turn him on the right path. I’m not sure if she’s met Sterling there.
So I need another connection here. Ryan is... troubled. His little sister is dead, it’s been... two years? Two years since she died, and he never really recovered from it. He was closest to her. Owen, who is in 10th grade (which I need to change on the database), is having a hard time. Ryan went to HAHS that year. Owen stayed at the normal school, UFHS. So Owen was experimenting in drugs, and... I imagine that means his drug dealer is someone connected to Tyrone Lopez. Maybe... Hugo?
Which is a connection there.
Maybe it wasn’t two people effecting two others. I thought that Sophie changed Ryan’s life because of Kenna, but I think that may have been a choice Kenna made. And then the other change was also Ryan. Not Courtney. Because Mariah being in Ryan’s life is a good thing. A good thing that wouldn’t have happened without Sophie’s bad luck. And maybe.... maybe that has something to do with Sid.
Sid needs to have wished one of these people good luck. One of the people that led to Melody’s existence. But Sid didn’t know anyone here. Except Ryan, and Courtney. So he must have talked to Ryan.
But I need to go back to Nicole and Bernie and Tyrone. Ryan was into drugs, which links him to Tyrone. Or someone working with drugs. He was a freshman, and his brother was a sophomore. So maybe he knew Bernie. Is that possible?
Nicole has told us her story. And I think she was at the alternative high school for awhile. Which is probably how she met Ryan. If she did.
I thought I had the ending figured out, but... I don’t know. Nicole showing up kind of messes things up. Although, not really. I mean, I could still go the way I was going with this. Sid changes things about Wyatt in order to change the way Chloe is, and reverse the whole situation. But Sid can’t change the actual past, so it would just change Chloe’s path from here.
Sid could wipe memories of his identity, but he won’t.
And then so things get better on that, Chloe is on a better path and makes things up to people, and Wyatt is no longer able to hurt people.
And then someone else comes along, and everything happens all over again, because there will always be someone else.
But Sid could make it so there wasn’t. And so there should be the moral issue. Which is a dilemma and I need to find an end to it, and I need to let it unfold.
But Nicole messes with it. Because she’s back, and I’m not entirely sure of Chloe’s angle with her.
She gets out of jail, and she doesn’t really know anyone. She was young when she went to jail, and it was after a long relationship with Tyrone Lopez. She was completely absorbed in him. He was her whole life. I don’t think we know anything about her life before that. Or his life before that. This is all going to go back to Unlucky, and Sophie’s mistakes.
Unlucky needs a lot of things rewritten, and I think I need to include Tyrone Lopez. Sophie never went after him. But in the processes of chasing Marisa, aka Swiper, she would have encountered him. And glimpsed Nicole. I mean, she knew things about Bernie, which means maybe she knew about that. She was aware of their drama. I hadn’t given their drama much thought but maybe I should.
Maybe Ty is one of the villains. He was someone Sophie encountered, a long time ago. I’m not sure how yet. I have to rework that.
But he’s Marisa’s villain. And he’s mad.
Or maybe.
Maybe Nicole.

MEMORIES
I use to be confident as a child with girls I liked. However, in 4th grade, I told a girl named Nicole Lopez I liked her. She sent her friend to ask why. I said, "Because we both have a similar interest: drawing."
After that day, she never talked to me and ended up dating this kid named Malik who looked like Lil Wayne.
