[It wasn’t a wonder that Keima pulled all-nighters to play his videogames so he was lacking in sleep. Still, for Nico to also be tired, it had been thanks to her having an all-night study session with one of her friends in her apartment apparently prior to an exam. Having managed to pass her exam properly, she wanted to celebrate and Keima made a small cake to celebrate it since she was very happy and proud about it. As it was expected as well, they decided to watch a movie since she was already at his house and even though the movie was entertaining, they both ended up asleep next to each other. Keima’s head was resting on Nico’s apparently and hers was resting on his shoulder so he suddenly felt his consciousness coming back slightly and realized that someone, probably his mother, had covered them with a blanket.]

I guess it’d be bad to wake her up… Oh well.

[And just like that, he decided to continue resting for a while longer.]

[It was unlikely from Keima but he decided to give a surprise to Nico and used his connections in the gaming community to come up with something. One day Keima invited Nico to come up to his house to play some games and even though Nico was a bit reluctant about it, she gave in and went to Keima’s home the day they had agreed.

Keima asked her to play a few different games and give him her honest opinion after a while. Once she had played a couple of games that didn’t seem to her liking, he put the next game. Nico’s eyes grew wide when she realized what the game was about: It was a game with Nico as the star of the game and Keima was using the songs that Nico had recorded and forced him to listen a few times in the past and that he had kept with him. The game was a rhythm game with her songs and featuring her as the super star and having many fans that attended to every one of her “concerts” which were the tracks you played.]

Well, what do you think? I asked a few favors to get this indie game become a reality.

[It was a cold night unlikely of the season and since apparently Nico had gotten a rare chance to stay away from home for one night so they had arranged to meet and play some videogames together since she’d be staying at his house for the night.

Even though his mom had no real reason to, she decided to leave for the night to attend to some “last minute urgent business” and left the two alone with an obvious grin on her face as she left. The pair couldn’t help but think that Keima’s mom had such an irresponsible way to handling things but didn’t dwell too much on it before enjoying a competitive night of games and a movie. 

Eventually, tiredness got over them so Keima went to his room to sleep on his bed and covered himself on the blanket just to realize he had “an intruder” pull up the blanket and dive into it and a head popped out from the blanket pretty much in front of him and complaining on him leaving his cute girlfriend to freeze on there.]

There was a bigger blanket on the drawer next to the bed in the room my mother said, you know?...

[Even though he said that, he readily wrapped his arms around her and merely fell asleep like that since the warmth of two bodies below a blanket was enough to counter the cold air from the night.]

[Once again, Nico and Keima had been locked in a pointless argument over his videogames and about the way some developments worked and about how some kissing scenes looked unlikely and all. This made Keima had a certain feeling of Déjà vu but nevertheless, he got annoyed at Nico’s arguments and it wasn’t usual of her to do so but she wasn’t shutting up and kept on rambling on a certain point in the argument until Keima decided to make her silent in the only way that came to mind: He pulled her into a kiss.It was then that he remembered why this scene felt familiar: She had done this to him in the past and he was now doing it himself to her.]

[After a short while when he realized she calmed down, he released her and simply went back to his games.]

I still think that could happen so no matter what you say, I will keep my belief.

10. Having them lie down and kissing them upside down (“Spiderman”) style

[Keima and Nico decided to have another movie night at her apartment and the siblings had already gone to sleep so they started watching the movie “Spiderman” and there was a part in the movie when Mary Jane kissed Spiderman while he was upside down. Nico immediately argued that kissing like that must be uncomfortable and whatnot. Keima merely said that he had no idea but failed to see the point of how that was supposed to be romantic and they both argued about their own ideas about it before just letting the topic go and watching the movie while Keima managed to watch it and play a game while at it.

The movie finished and Nico seemed to be thinking of something because she stayed silent until she finally stood up abruptly and asked Keima to lie on the couch for a little bit. Keima had no idea what she was thinking and complained but ended up doing as asked.]

So? What am I supposed to do now?

[Nico followed to tell him to just lie there and close his eyes for a second and so he did. Nico proceeded to get on her knees on the end of the couch where Keima’s head was resting and in that awkward position, she planted a kiss on his lips. As it was expected, Keima felt quite surprised and opened his eyes but Nico held his face in place by cupping his cheeks on her hands so he had no escape and had to submit to simply humoring her so he started kissing back as well. The awkward position made it for a whole new experience and when Nico finally let go of him, he sit back up to see her.]

You know, a bit of warning would’ve been appreciated.

[It had all started out with a visit to a school festival and they were holding fake marriage ceremonies in it. Normally that wouldn’t be enough to interest Nico, or Keima for that matter, in such an event, but for some reason they were offering a chance to participate in a lottery to the couples that went through the marriage event and there was a rumor going around that the prize was the chance to appear in a magazine in some sort of photoshoot or something like that and needless to say, Nico was overly enthusiastic at the chance, nagging Keima to go along with her on that fake ceremony.]

I just told you that there’s a whole set of steps you have to follow through for the ideal setting didn’t I?! You tell me I’m the one who doesn’t take marriage seriously and yet here you are trying to go through this fake thing just for some prize!

[In the end, Keima ended up caving in and just agreeing, earning a fake marriage document along with a few pictures of their fake wedding ceremony and a slice of “wedding cake”.]

4: Forehead Kiss

“Look pipsqueak. This is mine. Get your own jacket” Miyuki says with a glare before tugging on the clothing.

“No! I found it first!” Nico says angrily as she tugs the other side of the clothing.

They both continue to tug it and it eventually rips in half causing both to fall on their asses. However because the table where the clothing was displayed on was nearby , Nico’s head bumps onto the leg. She yelps in pain and immediately holds her head.

Miyuki’s eyes widen. He didn’t mean for the girl to get hurt. “A-are you alright?” he asks worriedly before walking over to her.

“No! This hurts” Nico shouts.

“Alright just calm down” Miyuki states.

Nico gives him a deadpanned stare.

“I AM CALM. THIS JUST REALLY HU-” Nico starts to shout before all of the sudden lips press against her forehead. Her eyes widen as she looks up at the male.

Miyuki smiles. “There. Better?”

Nico becomes speechless for a total of five seconds before she grabs his shirt and pulls his face close to hers. “If you ever do that again I will rip you in shreds. You got that?” she says with a murderous glare.

Miyuki gulps before he nods his head slightly.

“Good” Nico says before letting go of his shirt and shoving him off him. 

Miyuki then looks at the two pieces of what’s left of the jacket before cracking a smile at the female.

“Guess the jacket is half off now” he jokes.

Nico literally faces palms herself. 

Miyuki just laughs.
