Idk what abled person needs to hear this but for the love of god if youre interacting with a wheelchair user—particularly a stranger or someone who is merely a professional acquaintance—dont fucking touch their chair. Dont lean on it, dont grab the handles, dont just treat it like any other object or furniture. Even if we disregard that youre possibly going to be moving them or holding them in place when doing this, the chair is their mobility device, thats their legs. If you wouldn't touch or lean on that person's shoulder dont fucking grab their wheelchair??? Especially without permission??? Especially when you've been asked specifically not to??? Its their personal space, it is not a piece of furniture, treat it as such

Got so many ideas for pre canon occtis fics in my head and so little time to write them. 14 year old Occtis teaching himself cantrips in a desperate attempt at being useful when he realises he'll never get his bloodlines magic. Sibling rivalry stuff but with a bunch of 10 year olds with sorcerous abilities. Primus finding out that occtis still hasnt shown magical aptitude as a teenager and taking over in occtis's lessons, doing plenty of fucked up shit in hopes it will manifest occtis's abilities, without much care for occtis himself. Ethrand and occtis's relationship growing up and the resentment that built between the tachonis siblings and occtis over his lack of usefulness to the house and therefor apparent lack of responsibility. Occtis meeting thimble at a gala or something hosted at his families manor when he was 8 years old and she was wandering around looking for trouble. Fuck dude I dont have time for all this fanfiction in my head!!!!!

i miss hungry hermits playtesting streams, back when tango's game would crash if he tried using freecam + flashback at the same time. there's something really funny about him standing motionless and muted in the corner of the dining room staring at the customers instead of using freecam. imagine eating at that restaurant and there's just a guy covered in redstone with deep eyebags staring at you mumbling about bugs. while the only 2 workers on shift are heard in the back screaming and fist-fighting rats

i love the characterization of Pincushion—and by proxy Occtis as a developing spellcaster—where alex hasn't explicitly said he's summoned pin in a scene (preferring to keep him out of sight because obviously an undead fox garners a lot of attention, and Occtis is fully aware he's kind of creepy and is self-conscious about it), but either brennan or another player references him anyway, and alex just goes along with it saying that pin leaves the pocket dimension by his own will sometimes, and Occtis is frustrated by it. Like it made for the fun rambly nerd moment where he tried to explain his hypothesis for it happening but to me it also kind of speaks to the fact that A: pincushion wasn't a completely summoned familiar, he was an animated fox that kind of got bound to Occtis to help that process along, so maybe he does kind of have more of a mind of his own, and B: maybe Occtis isn't sure in his magic, so he's not as able to control Pin's exiting of the pocket dimension as much as he'd like to. idk . he's neat i love familiars.
