Dyre Vaa (Jan. 18, 1903 - 1980) was a Norwegian artist who together with Vigeland was the dominant sculptor of the 20th century in his homeland. His works are found all over Norway - Oslo City Hall and the Nidarosdom in Trondheim, for instance - including smaller towns and local churches.

This sculpture of the poet Olav Aukrust (bronze, 1954) stands by the 11th century stave church in Lom in Oppland.
