In the dark
so my hc for angels in Razia’s shadow is they produce a sort of life ink. that’s why they’re called O’s inkslingers. when Ahrima was banished he cried so hard he accidentally produced his life ink instead.
he’s horrified about bringing humans to the desolate wasteland and runs off to the farthest corner to p much sulk. he doesn’t stop the life ink, bringing all sorts of odd creatures and plants to the dark.
think cave dweller like animals, blind with bioluminescence. mushrooms and other fungi with the same glowing property. he leaves those there for the inhabitants of the dark so they at least get a fighting chance.
the ppl of the dark know nothing of his past. they know someone tore down the lamps n stuff but not who. they just see Ahrima as their creator and life giver. they make many tapestries depicting him crying his life ink.
no one dares hunt for him though. he doesn’t let anyone get too close. he’s too ashamed. when light and dark reconnect he goes straight to Nidria. they do make up and stuff and he’s learned a lot of humility. i plan on doing another part based on post separation Nidria later. for now tho, u mostly just need to know they got back together and work as a team
