I voted for the first time today. Let me tell you I was so excited I was shaking.😂
I (obviously) had to show my ID and the woman had to smile. She said "A fresh one. 2001." and her partner smiled at me. Kindly they told me where to wait, reminded me what I had to do and then I went in.
I knew who I wanted to vote and I quickly made my X.
Once I left I called my Mama (because I ALWAYS wanted to vote and I was soooo super happy) but she didn't answer the phone. When she called me back 3 hours later I remembered that she is in Cuba and for her it was 5 a.m. when I called😂
Either way my party got a lot of votes and I am really happy! Over 60% of Germans voted today and I am so glad to have been one of them!
While the result (in total) could have been better (in Germany as well as in the rest of Europe) I am glad that my vote actually made a difference♡
So if you voted today: I AM SO GLAD OF YOU! LET'S BE EXCITED TOGETHER!
If you voted for the first time today: THAT IS AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU AND I AM SOOO PROUD OF YOU!!!
Now if you didn't vote even if you could that is really sad :( I hope you will vote next time cause it makes a difference! You live in a democracy and voting ensures that you will continue to live in one!
P.S.: If you voted but you voted Nazis or...other parties that shouldn't be voted anymore in this country...I am disappointed. Do better by the next elections alright? We can all make the world a better place, but we have to start somewhere. At least you voted what you thought was right (which is better than not voting but complaining, I guess).
