It is with great sadness that I must inform you all that Nigel Dobbyn, legendary Sonic the Comic artist, has passed away at the age of 56. 

He was mainly known for drawing Knuckles the Echidna’s series of strips on the comic. He worked on the comic from Sonic the Comic #65 to #101.

He also contributed with Sonic the Comic Online, the fan continuation of Fleetway’s Sonic Comic, regarded by many as the true continuation of the original comic.
