Standing with Victims is long overdue and shamed by a patriarchal systemic oppressive society. It’s long overdue. Simultaneously, due process has suffered the same fate. Especially for black and brown men!! As a black woman I find it EXTREMELY difficult to only Stand for Victims. Although I see, know, hear and have been a victim of abusive black men. However, those black men are not the collective and there are innocents whom are victims within this rape culture who belong to a group that are named perpetrators and justly so. Keeping my mind clear and my voice loud with feet planted, I pray will keep thine eyes open and X-ray.
