▪︎The stillness of night is shattered by the thundering sound of horse's hooves. The deafening clatter of metal armor on unscathed weapons.  And from the darkness rides a frightening man, a dark Prince.

¤...Voivode Dracula.

I'll return from darkness and will save your precious skin

I will end your suffering and let the healing light come in

▪︎His voice a clap of thunder as he yells his final battle instructions.  Tonight a mighty fight will spill forth on this battlefield. On the fields near the walled city of Târgoviște, Wallachia's seat of power resides.

Sent by forces beyond salvation

There can't be not one sensation

World on fire with a smoking sun

Stops everything and everyone

Brace yourself for all will pay

▪︎Your bare feet carry you swiftly through Sultan Mehmed's camp, you just want to find a place to hide from the soldiers fighting.  You are but a simple harem girl that likes to take in the night skies. To remember the stories behind the constellations...you are no warrior but Viovode Vlad will be careless in the confusion.

Help is on the way

Girl I will cover you when the sky comes crashing in

I'll go the distance, lead the way to your darkest sin

▪︎Your scared eyes turn to your left as a horse clips your shoulder, with its broad body.  Hands, that at first you don't recognize as yours, grasp the reins of the black charger. Your fingers stroke its nose to calm this war horse of someone's.

You know there's something coming down from the sky above

Stops everything and everyone

Brace yourself for all will pay

▪︎A presence fills your heart with dread.  Yet your hands cannot seem to untangle from the double set of reins of Drǎculea's charger.  You witnessed the day the proud steed was gifted to Prince Vlad.  Said dark Prince is now paving a bloody path towards you.

Help is on the way

You will save your precious skin

Let the healing light come in

I'll cover you when the sky

Comes crashing in

▪︎You decide you will die standing on your feet like a free person, not groveling and begging like the slave to Mehmed.  The charger spins around your twisting form as you continue to hold the horse in place.

"Y/n?" Prince Vlad rumbles loudly to be heard."Is that you Little one?"

"Prince Vlad, I have your horse for you!" you call back to him.

▪︎Lord Impaler increases his aggressive step towards you. His armor clasped hand reaching out for his horse.

...¤ No.  He's reaching for you.

Stops everything and everyone

Brace yourself for all will pay

Help is on the way

▪︎One hand grabs the double reins while another grasps you.  Your eyes grow wide as his mouth crashes into yours.  He ends the kiss with a tug to your bottom lip with his teeth.

▪︎You had been his favorite girl when allied with Mehmed.

▪︎Strong hands lift you upon the powerful black charger.  With a slap to the stallion's rump, you are carried away into the night. 

...¤ Into the night safely.
