Close shave | K. Bakugo | fluff
"Steady," Katsuki warns — grip tightening around your waist.
Shaving foam crackles as you trail the razor over his jaw in slow —downward strokes.
Even if he wanted to — there's no escaping this. You've locked him onto this chair — thighs squeezing around him and your fingers gripping his neck into stillness.
He's helpless.
The only time he fully exhales is when you veer off to rinse the metal.
"Quit squirmin'. " You tease — mimicking his usual gruffness.
"Real funny," he retorts. In his defense. No idiot has ever gotten close enough to wield a blade to his skin.
Sitting on his lap.
In his bathroom.
Just to shave his stubble with concentration so deep it sorta makes him want to close the space. Kiss all over your lightly parted lips with messy, foam-coated pecks.
Occasionally, his feet will shuffle. Thigh muscles flexing in an attempt to step on the non-existent brakes.
You stop, lashes fluttering down with worry. "You okay?" you check in.
"Keep going," he assures, and you do just that. But he stops you the moment it touches his skin again. "I — just — careful. Adams apple's sensitive, yeah?"
You kiss his nose. "Roger that."
And you do a damn good job.
After giving it a cold rinse. He cranes his neck around the mirror, pulling that tight-lipped, overly critical face people make in the mirror. "It's good," he says, wiping the water around his lips.
"I take payment in kisses by the way," you add, smug as you make eye contact through the mirror.
He huffs, before dipping his head side to side — sly — teasing as he finally gets revenge for surviving your commentary. "Mmmm — I'll think about it."
A/N:
Uhhhhhh m.list
pregnant with there kid - Mondstadt Men
Albedo
Albedo approached your pregnancy almost like a sacred mystery. Not in a cold or detached way, in an awestruck way. He’d rest his hand against your stomach with complete fascination, quietly wondering how something so small could already change his entire world.
He kept sketchbooks filled with drawings of you throughout every stage of your pregnancy. Little notes crowded the page margins.
“The glow in her expression becomes more noticeable when speaking about the child.”
He talked to the baby scientifically at first. That lasted maybe two weeks. Then you caught him softly reading stories aloud to your stomach while thinking nobody was around. He got embarrassed immediately.
Diluc Ragnvindr
Diluc became fiercely gentle. The kind of gentle that made your chest ache. He’d wake up before you just to make sure your mornings were easier. If you craved something at midnight, he was already halfway out the door before you could say never mind.
Diluc also had a habit of resting his forehead against your stomach when the stress of Mondstadt became overwhelming. You quickly realized why. The baby always kicked when hearing his voice. And every single time, Diluc smiled like the world had stopped spinning.
Kaeya Alberich
Kaeya acted teasing the entire pregnancy. But he worried constantly. You’d catch him watching you carefully whenever you looked too tired or uncomfortable.
“Careful,” he’d hum dramatically while helping you sit down. “If anything happens to you, Diluc may finally kill me from stress.”
But behind the jokes, Kaeya adored seeing you carry his child. Especially because he never truly believed he’d get a future this soft. There were nights where he’d hold you quietly in bed, hand over your stomach, looking strangely emotional while thinking you were asleep.
Mika
Mika was PANICKING. Respectfully. This poor man treated your pregnancy like the world’s most important mission. You sneezed once and he nearly called Barbara.
Mika constantly carried emergency supplies “just in case,” even though nobody knew what the supplies were actually for.
But despite how nervous he was, he loved you endlessly. The first time he felt the baby move, he nearly started crying.
“S-Sorry,” he stammered while wiping his eyes quickly. “I just… I didn’t think I could ever have this…”
You definitely cried too.
Durin
Durin loved your child before they were even born. Absolutely adored them. He’d press his ear against your stomach constantly, fascinated by every tiny movement. Your pregnancy also made him unbelievably clingy.
“You should rest.”
“Durin, I just stood up.”
“That sounds exhausting.”
He said it with complete sincerity too. Durin talked about the future endlessly, flying with your child, showing them the stars, protecting both of you forever. Because after living such a lonely existence. Having a family felt like a miracle.
Varka
Varka was overjoyed. LOUDLY overjoyed. The Knights heard about your pregnancy within maybe ten minutes because this man could not stop talking about it.
“That’s MY child!” he proudly announced every chance he got.
Jean eventually banned him from interrupting meetings just to mention baby names. But in private? Varka became surprisingly tender. He’d rub your back after long days, kiss your forehead constantly, and speak to your stomach like the baby could already understand him. Which honestly, They probably could.
Venti
Venti cried immediately. Then denied it. Then cried harder when the baby kicked for the first time. Your pregnancy made him softer than usual, quieter during intimate moments, almost reverent whenever he touched your stomach.
Sometimes late at night, he’d play gentle songs for the baby on his lyre. And every single time? The baby calmed down instantly. Venti would smile so softly afterward that it almost hurt to look at him. Like he couldn’t believe something this beautiful was real.
Bennett
Bennett was terrified his bad luck would somehow affect you or the baby. He worried constantly. Too constantly. But you quickly realized something sweet. He was trying so hard to become someone dependable for both of you.
Bennett learned how to cook safer meals. He carried extra blankets. He triple-checked everything around the house. And whenever he rested beside you, hand carefully over your stomach, his whole expression softened into complete wonder.
“I’m gonna protect you both,” he whispered once.
Like a promise to himself.
Dahlia
Dahlia handled your pregnancy with endless warmth and teasing affection. He loved kissing your stomach randomly just to make you laugh. And the SECOND you started craving anything? He remembered. Forever. No matter how weird it was.
Dahlia also absolutely spoiled you. Blankets, snacks, flowers, naps, you wanted it, you got it. But the most emotional moment was when he first heard the baby’s heartbeat. He completely froze. Then smiled so brightly it made your chest ache.
“That’s our little one,” he whispered.
Like he still couldn’t believe he was lucky enough to have you.
Razor
Razor was confused at first. Very confused. Not about loving you. About pregnancy itself. You had to explain multiple things very slowly while he listened with intense concentration.
But once he understood? Razor became unbelievably protective. He stayed close to you constantly, especially outdoors, always alert for danger. He’d gently touch your stomach with cautious wonder, eyes wide whenever the baby moved.
“Small wolf…” he murmured softly one day.
Then immediately corrected himself.
“No. Small pup.”
You laughed so hard you cried. Razor looked very proud of himself afterward.
