it is too heavily fortified to be just any storage vault.   as steve navigates the storage facility on light feet,  he’s careful not to raise any alarms.  after all, what would people think if he was caught stealing  ?   he could’ve gone through the proper channel for this.  he could’ve gotten an entire team involved.  but this is personal.  the tracking device leads him to the vault and the complicated lock is the first sign of trouble.  the other vaults in the facility had simple locks -- deadbolts or chains.  this is new,  high-tech. 

steve has to move quickly.  his preferred technique would be to break the lock but the lock on this requires a code.  he scans for the code before punching in a series of numbers.  then the door opens.  and voila !  there she is.  sitting in the center of the vault is his first shield.  steve steps inside the vault to grab it but as soon as he does,  an alarm starts blaring.

honestly the most Iconic(tm) was in the cartoon when jean died and he bought his own broken down apartment to brood in until logan dragged him back to the mansion

jason n dick have a 3-4 year age difference if im correct and tim is only supposed to be 2 years younger than jason ,

god thank u im literally ass deep in comic wiki right now and its all saying different ages but it seems to be saying dick and jason have a 4 yr difference
