           ❛  YOU  NEED  A  CHAPERONE ?  ❜   she  greets  with  a  confident  smile ,  feeling  all  too  confident  and  excited  for  the  festivities .  not  that  there  was  anything  specific  about  this  particular  one  (  if  anything ,   she  couldn’t  care  less  about  the  celebration  itself  ) ,  but  theo  figured  she  deserved  a  break  form  hero  business .  even  if  she  was  meant  to  be  on  guard  duty  for  most  of  the  night .  matching  her  pace  with  cynthia’s  as  the  girls  walked  toward  the  masquerade’s  entrace ,  she  spoke  again .  ❛  looking  good ,  cap .  kinda  making  me  wish  we’ll  be  paired  together  for  the  mystery  date  thing   —   did  you  sign  up ?  ❜
