11. Our muses are destined to be night out friends; they’ll never talk outside of being intoxicated and playful, but once the party as started the mood is high, they’re temporary best friends.
The music and voices were as loud as they could be and the drinks were running high, and Acid had an arm around Fury's shoulder, as he laughed loudly about some really silly joke she made.
"C'mon, that wasn't that good of a joke!" She said, poking him on the side with her shoulder. "You laughing like this makes me think you are making fun of me or something."
"Tch, you know I would never do such a thing, Fury!" Acid said, purring more Energon in her cube. "C'mon now, night is still young and, I don't have anything to do tomorrow!"
"You are so silly when you drink, you know that?" Fury asked with a snicker, taking a large gulp of her cube.
"I could say the same about you!" Acid chuckled as he got up, pulling Fury to the dancefloor. "C'mon, let's dance some! We still haven't done it!"
"Alright, alright!" Fury said as she got up and followed him to the middle of the crowd.
That was their nightly ritual. At least when the both of them could make it to the bar. It was all laughs and hugs and funtimes, but once nighttime came, they were like perfect strangers. There were no calls, no jokes, no loving nicknames, nothing.
Be it because they own had their own lives be it because Acid was a completely different person when he was 100% sober. But if the sun was up, it was guaranteed that they wouldn't exchange a single word, even if they happened to pass by - and acknowledge - each other in the streets.
