1 year! - just got created! Spends most of the time with Nightmare.
10 years! - spends most of the time with the villagers, even though sees that something is wrong with Night. They can't talk it out for reasons Night is afraid that they'll hurt Dream if he tells him, which sends Dream into anxiety over everything he does
10-100 years! - petrified in stone, unable to perceive reality
100-500 years! - upon the release from stone prison started abruptly growing (I forgot to draw their stretchmarks but I'm not returning to this art just imagine they're on his knees and thighs) which lead to intense pain, gladly Ink was there to help. Bleaches his hair to not look like Night and not annoy him. Is able to form multiple arrows from positivity.
500-700 years! - Is starting to doubt whether they should be fighting Nightmare at all. This emotional condition is weakening him; they can only form two daggers to fight.
700-1000 years! - in a fit of annoyance drops by Night's castle and begs him to take him as a prisoner because of how tired he is; ends up in a personal room until they get better. 'Getting better' went very quickly because their and Night's auras clicked together and they both felt much better :).
description (only describing the first picture because the others are just close ups) start: a long horizontal drawing depicting a character (Dream, he/they) at six different stages of his life. First stage shows a small child with short dark wavy hair, dark yellow eyes and tan skin. They’re dressed in a yellow longsleeve shirt, brown pants and yellow boots; on top of his head is a golden circlet. They are smiling cheerfully with his hands raised up. Text over him says ‘1y’ and text near them says ‘+ (plus) responsibilities that no child should ever face’.
Second stage pictures a slightly older and taller child, with same hair and circlet, but different clothes. He’s dressed in a light blue shirt, dusty brown pants, yellow boots; on their shoulders is a small yellow cape, held together by a pink sphere with a white star on it. The child is distressed, holding one of his arms anxiously. Text over them says ‘10y’, text near to him says ‘+ (plus) anxiety, + (plus) paranoia’.
Third stage is the same child but petrified, with moss, tiny flowers and mushrooms in the crevices of his form. They’re stuck like that, reaching out, with his mouth open in a scream. Text over them says ‘100y’ text near him says ‘- (minus) ability to move, - (minus) Nightmare’.
Fourth stage is a much taller person, now frowning and holding a bow. His hair is now bleached to be blonde, with black roots showing. They’re wearing a long cape-like light blue shirt, black pants, yellow boots and black archery gloves with thin cyan belts, and still have the same yellow cape he had in the previous stage. The bow has glowing cyan patterns on it, and the arrow is glowing too. Text over him says ‘500y’ text near them says ‘+ (plus) Ink, + (plus) Blue’.
Fifth stage is the same person, now wearing a black sleeveless turtleneck, black cargo pants, a long yellow cape held together by the previous pink sphere. The smaller cape is tied around their wrist. The circlet is not on him anymore. He’s holding two daggers with glowing cyan patterns. On their cheek is a bleeding scratch, he’s wiping it with the back of their hand. Text over him says ‘700y’ text near him says ‘+ (plus) doubts’.
Sixth stage is the same person, now happier, smiling with his hands crossed on his chest. They’re wearing a black blouse with open shoulders, black shorts with transparent skirt-like fabric pieces and black sandals. They now have two pink spheres, now as earrings. Text over him says ‘1000y’ text near them says ‘+ (plus) Nightmare’. End
