Nightmare Moon laughed. "Isn't that the case? Sadly, I have not yet managed to dethrone my sister, nor undo the brainwashing she has inflicted on my people. I'm considering building a city, a monument to the Night..." she grinned "And a base of operations for the return of true Harmony."

"I completely support that plan, my dear self." Luna smiled sharply. "And perhaps people will even reside in such a city, after Celestia's is destroyed." She hmmed at the pleasant thought, then cocked her head to watch Nightmare Moon curiously. "You have never ruled then?"

"Well. Well well well well. The more I reach out, the more I find myself. Rather zen, don't you think. Allow me to introduce myself. I am you." Nightmare Moon gave a mock bow.

"Well, I would rather find more of myself than more of my sister, that is certain," Luna raised an eyebrow, studying her. "What sort of realm do you hail from, then?"

Your pride exposed you, and your foolishness allowed Twilight Sparkle to unmake you. Because of your shortsightedness, you endangered your entire hive.

"You're right. Of course, I did not forsee Shining's sibling to be so previously close to Cadance.. oh well, simply an oversight that was impossible to fix. The others, though, they believed it to simply be pre-wedding jitters, as is well enough. Inexcusable for me to have simply rushed the plan anyways and try and rush Canterlot before any news could escape, in order to take it by force; I hadn't any concise back-up plan for the escape of that practically powerless alicorn.

"Still. I've done much worse."

"Some cure it was. Luna, as you know her, was brought back under the submission of the sun." Nightmare snorts. "You're right, it's unnatural. The moon shouldn't be bound; the sun shouldn't rule all."

Chrysalis grins slightly at the alicorn's snort. "It was truly such a shame I was still trapped when the moon remained in the sky. I always was more of a nocturnal Queen, if I were sleeping at all. Just one of the perks of the Everfree, that it's so dark. I could only imagine how it would be if the cycles were reversed.. or even if it were dark all the time.. lovely..~"

So you're the Changeling Queen that nearly brought Celestia to her knees. I have to admire you for doing what I could not, but don't expect my sympathy or assistance.
