I know the “mogai after dark” community is mostly devoted to 18+ terms that are usually sexual (and that not everyone would want to interact with).

Is there a tag and/or community for MOGAI terms that may not be inherently 100% adults only or be sexual in any way, but still breach a lot of very triggering topics that other people might not want to see terms about or discussion of those terms.

Mogai after dark and adjacent tags seem to very much be based around coinings based around sex/kink/paraphilia with occasional coinings based around recreational drug use. Which is not 100% what I’m looking for.

If it doesn’t exist that’s fine.

Coining a new xenogender plural term: -Alteric!

What is "____Alteric"?

____alteric is when the gender relates to a specific alter or a certain type of alter in a system!!

Examples:

Littlealteric: gender that is in a way connected to little alters in a system

BGS-NeroAlteric (my new term): a gender that is in a way connected to Nero (me!), specifically the alter named Nero from the BGS system (us!)

hi mogai community. i love neoumbrellas but have noticed a problem with some of them:

why are they non-xenic?

some disclaimers:

i know this was a big thing when kenochoric was coined, many people didnt understand how it wasnt a xenogender

personal comfort with a label is *always* worth more than fitting within strict definitions

the word "xenogender" (and xenic by extension) has multiple definitions and we likely arent all operating on the same one

i see this most often with neoumbrellas but its kind of underlying everywhere. why do we seem to be moving away from calling things xenogenders/xenic? is the definition too broad? too narrow? too known outside of mogai spaces?

if you coin non-xenic umbrella terms, please take a moment to think about why and how they are considered non-xenic. you dont even need to say they *are* xenic, just make it clear that xenics are welcome to identify with it in a xenic way.

Cistrans/transcis/trisxenine; for anyone who identifies as both trans and cis xenine. Made by me, based off of pvpmogai's transxenine flag. Made with intersexuality in mind (as I'm intersex and cistrans xenine), but not exclusive to those who are intersex.

xenic solidarity is my friend knowing that i use xenos/neos but NOT she/her or they/them (i'm transmasc and it gives me insane dysphoria) and despite having a they/them default due to my plurality, they always go out of their way to ask if i'm in front to avoid misgendering me.

This is xenic solidarity!! Wonderful on your friend's part. Shoutout to them.

This is kinda a vent? Feel free to ignore.

I've been out as nonbinary for. Like. 5 years. And I've always just left it at that, but recently I found I might be faegender? Like. Yeah that fits me exactly, it gives so much euphoria. But I'm probably going to keep going as nonbinary cause i don't think a lot of people irl know about faegender and I have no idea what my online friends feel about xenogenders (they are very likely cool! They're lovely people. We've just never talked about it and I am made of anxiety), I really just wanted to come out somewhere cause it brings me so much joy.
