SANGUINEM LUPI

An unconventional type of coven, this group is led by a werewolf/vampire hybrid who believes both species are of value. Both species hold the same amount of respect and neither are seen as inferior. They see themselves as superior to humankind, and therefore frown upon any that choose to intermingle or align themselves with humans. Their main goal is to eradicate the human race, leaving the apex predators among the supernatural world to reign supreme. They accomplish this goal by traveling town to town, attempting to bring other supernaturals to their side. Their thought process is simple; comply or be erased. Agents of chaos, this group tends to thrive on leaving destruction, broken hearts, fear and flames in their wake. Enemies are a common occurrence for the group, and they can either band together to take on larger enemies or even separate to seek out those that they may have their own personal vendettas against. But overall, they are still a loyal group that will stand up and fight alongside the other members whenever the need arises.

CHILDREN OF NEREUS

A faction of sirens that still practice The Old Ways of their species to please the Ocean God’s, and their father Nereus, the God of the Ocean's Bounty. The group believes that there will be dire consequences if they stop these methods, that Nereus will no longer provide the bounty that the ocean brings them, and strip the magic from the Grotto of Pan, leaving them powerless to the other species in the area. To accomplish this, they provide sacrifices to appease him with little regard to the beings used in the rituals. Led by Serena Donahue, a loyal follower of Nereus, this group consists of both male and female sirens, all of whom thrive on power and tend to hold a sense of entitlement over who they consider to be lesser beings.

SOL SALUS

A coven of witches that has been around for generations, things have started to shift from the old ways into the new when their current coven leader took over. Kaia Abbott wasn’t born into the coven like most of their past leaders, instead chosen for the position when her adopted brother turned the role down. Kaia stepped in as leader and while her unknown origin has some of the coven questioning her leading role, others see her potential. Working to make Sol Salus bigger and better, Kaia and Theo Abbott, her second in command and adoptive brother, do whatever it takes to keep those within their coven safe from the other supernatural species of Blackwater. Even if that means bringing in witches that fall into different archetypes than the majority of them. Mainly light ritualists, there’s more to this coven than meets the eye and darkness looms somewhere within their ranks.
