So uhh, hi guys. Long time no see. Not Ted or Delaney here, we'll explain in a bit >:)

aye if we got requests going then I'll say your favorite AU

Oh, jeez, I have a lot of favorite AUs. Like, you oughta see the amount of text conversations thedisreputableseal and I have about Check Please AUs. Coffee shops and bakeries are always nice, but the latest one that’s traipsed through my mind is Treasure Hunter AU. Like, Atlantis or Indiana Jones style:

“Are you actually taking video of this?” Jack Zimmermann, head of this mad expedition to the middle of nowhere, has very little patience for anyone whining about extra batteries.

Eric Bittle, expert road chef and amateur documentarian, is not whining, thank you very much. It just so happens that he has an entire bag of batteries for this camera, and really, someone needs to record what’s going on. 

What’s going on is a treasure hunt, funded by a mysterious man named Johnson, to find an ancient ruin that may or may not be the first recorded sports arena in history. Rumor has it that the arena was turned into a storage place for millions of dollars worth of treasure, not that Jack has much interest in the money. 

“He’s here for the history of it all,” snorts Shitty Knight, who is Jack’s best friend. He’s also the team medic, who gives sound advice on life while wrapping up a skinned knee or setting a broken bone. 

Perhaps most often in need of his skills are Justin Oluransi and Adam Birkholtz. They really were hired guns, but they ended up being the ones who provided much needed energy after long days, as well as being the helpful muscle that dug the humvees out of the mud.

Will Poindexter is the one who fixes the muddy humvees. And Bitty’s video equipment. And Bitty’s cooking equipment. The only thing he has trouble fixing is his relationship with the trap expert, Derek Nurse.

Because we all know that these ancient peoples put all sorts of booby traps to keep their treasure safe, and it’s Nursey’s job to find and disarm them. “Chill man, if you move too fast, you’ll snag the hair trigger and get shot.” 

Perhaps the only one who doesn’t have an exact role in the trip is Chris Chow, who has taken on the job of the team’s head cheerleader. He’s easily the only one they’re all glad of being there, ambiguous as his reasons may be. Johnson sent him as his representative, and said that his role would be evident before the end of the quest. That’s all they know.

Meanwhile, Larissa Duan is in the front of their little caravan, maps in hand, and the native language translated in her head, ready to get shit done and find some gold. Someone’s gotta keep these boys in line.

I love art memes! And this time, Cat, Tim, Ehan, Dog, Nuala(and Ertz), Cardinal, Muma, and Pam the III are the victims. At least only one died this time. Cat and Dog still don't have names yet but oh well. : I I'm glad I got an excuse to draw these guys more..took all day though!

i'm drawing crystal gems for friendos hoo hoo!! ` v´basically any person i know can just drop a gemstone and a picture of them (if they haven't send one to me before heh) (also some additional info for the looks or gemstone position or w/e) in my inbox and i'll do my best!! ^O^
