Nightmirror
In a world occupied by 16 different realms of people one man fought to become the leader of them all. 25 years later he was challenged, as the law required, so someone else could lead the 16 realms. This was over 500 years ago. The demon lord still stands undefeated. In an effort to raise the possibility of a new lord emerging and besting him he decreed that every year he would choose one person from a realm to fight him. This year the realm he chooses from is that of the magicians.
Yuna is a girl from the realm of the Magicians, even though her blood burns as hot as that of the demons. Her future is set in stone, she is meant to become her younger brothers assistant and it is all she's ever wanted. But when the Lord comes to their realm and chooses her to fight him this future shatters in front of her eyes. No one has ever managed to best the Lord in a fight.
She's taken to the White Castle and gets given three weeks to prepare for her fight. However, together with her secret best friend and an unlikely helper she decides to prepare for something else instead. To escape the White Castle and venture through the deadly woods of the demon realm.
While trying to navigate the certainty of death, her training and a few political meetings Yuna starts to discover parts of her history that change her entire world.

Ish. My last ex and I split pretty amicably, so I'd say hi if I saw him, but we don't talk or anything.

Cosplay, probably. Since my lack of money, $ or £, is what's kept me from starting a wig collection.

Having dinner in front of a nice cozy fire while snuggling an adorable dog. This has been a pretty good evening. =)
37: did you have a dream last night?
Ugh, yeah; I had a really long, involved, highly stressful one. I forget most of the plot, but it involved trying to figure out whether or not my dream-friends were planning to betray me and have me killed. They were. And I had to run up and down the platforms of this sort of treehouse thing to get away.
…Yeah, I don't even know what my subconscious thinks it's doing.
