ALBUMS OF THE WEEK! Here are the albums that got me through the last seven days. Basically a lot of solid black metal, a dash of doom, and some Beatles (my daughters deemed that suitable for when I drive them around). I want to specifically point out the new EP from @night_of_the_vampire because it surprised me by how addictive it is. This is synth-driven black metal, and I wasn’t sure I’d like it at first because of my historic allergy to keyboards. Turns out this is excellent, and I’m excited to hear what this Houston-based band will put out in an album format. 1. Stormkeep - Tales of Othertime 2. Minenwerfer - Nihilistischen 3.
