Hey! I saw your WTNV stuck post, and your art is really cool. My only suggestion would be if you made a Rosemary counterpart, seeing as Rose (in my eyes) would be more into the occultish stuff that generally goes down in NightVale. So Dave, apart from his turntables and musical background, doesn't really seem like a kind of person who'd do a Radio News show to me. Just my two cents, I didn't mean to upset you or anything!
you didnt upset me anon i will definitely think about drawing a rosemary counter part cuz wow i love that ship! i just wanted to change it up a bit with who was the host cuz yeah rose is definitely into the occult stuff more than Dave is and her interest probably would lead her to investigate the happenings in Night Vale if she were there but personality wise i just think of Dave for some reason. Maybe its because of his wordy ramblings and over dramatic tendencies that i just thought of him or how he can go from a serious subject to something goofy and really pretty dumb in the matter of seconds. When i think of cecil i do think of his suave and mysterious personality but i also remember that cecil is a huge dork who spills his love life and personal life through his radio show for everyone to hear. im not saying rose isnt a huge dork either, because, lets face it, she really is, i just dont think she'd be spilling how much she loves kanaya over a live radio broadcasting. Cecil is also pretty over dramatic about a lot of things and can go on lengthy descriptive ramblings about stuff. Idk its just my personal opinion but i will definitely think about doing a rosemary counter part because i totally understand the reasoning behind rose being the host. i guess either one of them could do it in this crossover im not really the one to set boundaries on who is who this is just my twist on it. i am thinking about writing a fic on this AU so if i do it will probably go further in depth with my reasoning behind dave being cecil. also baphometthebitch messaged me about writing a fic as well so if i dont write one they most likely will. thank you for expressing your opinion i will definitely think about it!
