Well, let's see. You're the second second Night Vale I've seen, and we seem to look different, and talk different. You're probably not a mirror at all. More like...an alternate? A something. Yes, that's it. You are a something. I'm not sure about what that something is. But it's probably stained with fluids found only in remote jungles, as the venom of an as-of-yet undiscovered species of insect.

you slam the turn wheel of your car, wonderful, just wonderful. your car broke down a couple of minutes ago and you can't seem to get it to work again. you softly growl and you pull of you blue scarf and your green jacket. the worst thing wasn't even that  your car broke down, oh no. the worst thing was that the car broke down in the middle of the dessert and you have no idea where you are. you ruffle through your and you decide to open the dashboard, looking on the map would be a clever idea. you search for the dashboard and you get out the map. you fold it open and your eyes quickly look over the map to see where you are right now. you bite your lip and your finger follows the road you were following up until now... you inhale deeply and sit back. then you curse. oh great, greaaattt. you have no clue or whatsoever where the hell you were.  you get out of your car and you get into the blazing sun and the unbearable heat. you sigh and you slowly walk to the front. you watch your car for a bit, what could be wrong with it? you open it up and you look at the engine...alright...you couldn't fix that with the tools you had now. you sigh again and you sit on the car, now what? it is hot, you have no water with you and you have no idea where you are. so far for being a genius. you turn your head to your car slighty and you grumble.
