In ancient Nature religions fertility goddesses were depicted with full breasts and round bellies. The Virgin in astrology isn’t a prude and along with Cancer, is one of the biggest sign symbols of motherhood in astrology. The moon mother has been called many names like Athena, Ceres, Selene. We have the Virgin Mary in the BIble as the Divine Mother. Lilith was denied children when banned from Eden. Queen Serenity/Neo-Queen Serenity is a cancer and lives in the Moon Kingdom. These are all very motherly related.

Aries Moon: These are the rough playing children, they need to know that their passion, and slight aggression is valid. But also that they have to tame themselves sometimes

Taurus Moon: these moon children need security in their upbringing, its painful to see these children as adults feel like they haven’t found it, or don’t know how to create it for themselves. Give them an allowance early.

Gemini Moon: Knowledge is power. Given them paper and pen, read to them. Let them know they are intelligent. Let them pretend they are a super villain and superhero.

Cancer Moon: as a child you’ll need the assurance that family is forever, that yours is a strong one even during difficult times. If this doesn’t happen said child may develop attachment issues such as too much or little catchment.

Leo Moon: as a child these moons need the chance to shine, that they are appreciated. As a mother you’ll give that warmth in the home, if Cancer Moons are the mother, Leo Moons are the kitchen smelling of baked goods and love.

Virgo Moon: these children and mother need order but on the flip side they need to know chaos is fine/happens, just roll with the punches when you can.

Libra Moon: This the second most common moon sign I come across, the first being Aquarius moons. Libra moons as children need a) justice/balance, and b) the knowledge true love exists. Ex. if divorced, wait some time before you bring in someone else you’ve been dating

Scorpio Moon: these children/mothers need consistent honesty.Don’t use euphemisms, don’t lie even to protect them. If they don’t get that they won’t appreciate the honesty, ie expect others to be truthful yet they themselves lie. 

Sagittarius Moon: Dora the Exploror can’t beat your Sagittarius Moon child. They need to explore their beliefs, to travel in their minds and in the world. As a mother they’ll bring different experiences to their children and points of view. Possibly travel, too.

Capricorn Moon: they need to know that they can achieve their goals, that their ambitions are worthwhile. However like all Capricorn planetary placements, they need to know that it is okay to fall, that they can rise to greater heights after they “fall from grace.”

Aquarius Moon: as a child these moons need to know that they will be accepted for themselves, that it doesn’t matter that they’re oddballs. 

Pisces Moon: as a child they can become overly attached to their parents. But what they really need is the emotional security, the kind that will bring them back to earth at the end of the day. As a mother they’re some of the more creative moon signs.
