oh wow, witnessing this happen alongside link joker when it was airing was hilarious but also emotionally taxing and cfv just won out. this might just encourage me to go finish it ^^;

Oh man yeah. I definitely would not recommend watching ZeXal alongside CFV for sure lmao. It’s funny you mention that because instead of watching ZeXal as it was airing, I watched CFV (after much nudging from @blaster-aichi and two other pals of mine). So now that I’ve seen both, I’m glad I watched one or the other because both at the same time would have absolutely left my high school self devastated in terms of emotions. 

But YES. PLEASE FINISH ZEXAL. YOU WON’T REGRET IT.

I mean, you may or may not emotionally die depending on where you left off, BUT YOU WON’T REGRET IT, TRUST ME.

*g* Hey now. I wrote this quite a while ago - I think before season 5, definitely before season 6. I didn’t know how they were going to end the series :) (Srsly, see my AU stories - I am quite bad at predicting a lot of things as it turns out.) It was at the time my devout hope that they’d get a clue before the final episode, and then s7 and s8 happened and I just headdesked for a while.

However, that said, I think I’m weirdly pleased to take up again my old Queen of Pain crown. Haven’t worn that in many years. It’s kinda nice to know I can still earn it.

But I do promise happy endings, in the end. It just takes me a while to get there.
