Phionn Baliso is a resident at Vernrot Harbour, who works as an assistant nurse to the only doctor in town, Chryso Haanda. She decided to dedicate her life to helping others after she witnessed a troll dying in an alleyway when she was a child, and she was unable to keep them stabilised before proper medical professionals arrived on the scene. She's a positive and cheerful troll who tends to act first and then ask questions later, and you can always expect her to be first on the scene for a medical emergency.

Her real passion, however, is volleyball. She had to give up her aspirations to become a professional player to pursue her career in medicine, but she still loves the sport and catches every game on TV as Vernrot lacks the facilities to start up her own team. You can also find her jogging every evening and then going for a swim in the harbour every evening, no matter how cold the weather is.

Her boss Chryso has a soft spot for her and she is one of the few trolls they get along with despite their very contrasting personalities, and she looks up to Vallis as a 'senpai' figure due to his science knowledge.

Some fun facts:

Her lusus is an insectoid sea angel.

Aside from her nurse scrubs, she only wears athleisure-style clothing for comfort and so that she can go out for a run at any time. She loves being active and having the freedom to do as much running and swimming as she pleases.

She wishes someone would open up a bubble tea shop in Vernrot Harbour as she's seen pictures of them all over social media and is dying to know what they taste like.

Sharle's lusus is a peregrine falcon-potoo hybrid, which essentially just looks like someone stuck a potoo's head onto a falcon's body. Since he's out traveling for his career quite a lot, his lusus is often looked after by trolls back at Aeon Racing's main headquarters.

Falcondad loves and supports his charge to almost an embarrassing degree, which a lot of people think is adorable and Sharle gets so embarrassed when people call his lusus cute or goofy-looking. Falcondad is cool, he mutters to himself. But he also adores his lusus a lot and loves when he's able to bring it back home to his hive so they can spend some quality time together. He likes letting it fly alongside him if he's cycling around Revoire City, or he helps its get its exercise by taking it to an open field so it can practice divebombing for treats.

His lusus will also happily sit on your head if your hair looks suitably fluffy enough. Unsurprisingly, Jamie is its favourite target whenever he visits Sharle's hive.

But she's embarrassed about a lot of things she's done. Writing fanfiction about people she knows, getting her hand stuck in a vending machine more than once, breaking into friends' hives and discovering that they're home and wondering why she didn't just knock, getting caught stealing and failing to bluff her way out of it... The list goes on

☂️ - How do they feel about rain?

She doesn't have much of an opinion on it, other than it sucks to get caught out in the rain without an umbrella. The only coat she owns is her old work clothes from when she was an assistant at a boutique, which is definitely not made for the rain, and she owns limited spare pairs of jumpers and pants as well

🍳 - How well can they cook?

She can cook very simple dishes using ready-made ingredients (such as those pre-made pasta sauce jars instead of making the sauce from scratch), but anything more complex than that she'll struggle with. Money and motivation are huge factors that prevent her from ever bothering to cook, it's so much easier to steal food from someone else or just live off snacks

Money, free food, free things in general. Katrin is very easy to win over, but over time she'll start to feel bad about taking so much from someone without really giving them anything back
