Gives nose/forehead kisses: Both, but Solana lets Nihlus do it more frequently because she thinks it’s super cute when he’s affectionate.  Also, he’s taller.

Gets jealous the most: Solana gets jealous easily.  But she doesn’t say anything about it.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Realistically, they are both drunk at the bar, and they walk home together, arms wrapped around each other’s waist.  

Takes care of on sick days: Both, but Solana is more fussy about it, and Nihlus does some weak protesting about her overattentiveness.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: NEITHER CAN SWIM.  Turians sink like rocks.  Instead, they sunbathe and pick up seashells.

Gives unprompted massages: Solana, frequently.

Drives/rides shotgun: Nihlus drives.  Solana rides shotgun.  She wears sunglasses and thinks her hubby’s really scary stunt-level driving is awesome.  She’s the only person who can stomach it.

Brings the other lunch at work: Solana.  Even when he’s not at home, she makes an effort to find out where he is so she can get lunch delivered to him.

Has the better parental relationship: It’s a very sore subject for both.

Tries to start role-playing in bed: Mm this one is tougher?  I feel like it’s something that wouldn’t happen without prior discussion from both parties.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Solana.

Still cries watching Titanic: Solana.

Firmly believes in couples costumes: Nihlus has been known to bring it up.  But, ultimately, Solana.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Both of them do.  And yet, they still try to do enact the rule every year.

Makes the other eat breakfast: They both do.  These two would literally die of starvation without each other.

Remembers anniversaries: Both.

Brings up having kids: Solana would want to bring it up, but she’d make Nihlus talk about it first.  She’d spend a lot of time dropping unsubtle hints about it.

Get Me

It was an ambush, kicking himself every second he got to breathe to know that he got them in this mess. If she got killed, he has no one, but himself to blame for everything. Not wanting to think of how would Garrus would do if he had heard what happen, because he wasn't focus on the task instead.

Glancing off to the side to see the person he had drag to hell and possible death. Solana was holding her own pretty well, than most soldiers he had came across, but he could see the tiny details that explain the whole story. From what he could see was that she was slightly becoming lazy with her timing and shots. Knowing that it was because they were scouting the area around them till they both got hit by bullets from Cerberus.

The only thing that he could hear was the bullets that were swirling pass their heads by a mere meter. Then he had heard a loud gasp of pain off to the side where Solana was at. Noticing that they were advancing on her side of the field, he had duck and took out his sniper rifle and aimed his targets, trying to keep her alive. 

Believing that the close was clear, he had made his way towards her, as he placed a hand on her shoulder and quickly examined her. Knowing that this battle couldn't be won in any strategy he can come up with that doesn't involve a lost of a life.  Moving her arm around his neck he whispered quickly, "Don't worry, I'm here." 

Taking cover every movement they made, as he duck and took shots while taking the bullets by protecting her, it took them twenty minutes to navigate out of the fire fight of bullets and towards their ship. Once they got on, he had quickly punch in the codes to a nearby mass relay and set it to auto-pilot.

Setting Solana down, as he grab some of his medi-gel as he applied to her wounds, once he had fixed her up, she had placed a hand on his shoulder and told him, "Nihlus, you got hurt." At the very second, he didn't thought about himself, but was more worried about her, "I'm fine, Solana."

Enamor Me 

How long was it since he had found himself holding a cup of wine, contemplating on how he was going to win a young woman's heart. Years after he had became Saren's pupil, and two years ever since he was instated as a Spectre, the highest of honors. Before he went  on the Normandy, there was the one young woman he had developed a pity crush on. He had never gotten the chance to tell her, and yet it was too late when he was killed. Then he came back, just to hear news that during the war, she had died among the millions who never made it. 

Foot steps echo the dark room he was occupying, slowly developing out of the habit of constantly looking behind ever since Solana had became his companion. Hearing the little stutter she does whenever she wasn't expecting him or whatever he does. Glancing up to his companion, he had noticed that she had changed out of her armor, into a nice fitting gown, obviously for sleep. 

He knew that he cannot hide the feelings forever, after all with the war, either one of them could die any second now and he would have the regret of never telling her, after all, she had every right to know. Not wanting to make her comfortable, he would offer her the choice of leaving him and have him take her wherever she wanted to go. 

The war had taken everything from, the senseless violence and the Reapers, taking away people he loved and cared about. Now, he only had one person who cared about him and worries about him, someone he cared about too. Solana. 

He would have asked her out for dinner, offer to go stargazing (which he had never got the chance to do that while growing up), or whatever would come in mind. Instead, her voice calling out his name, the sound of worry and concern was heard. Looking up, he gave her a small smile and went on saying, "You look lovely, Solana." Noticing the embarrassment on her face, he let out a chuckle and decided that he'll try tomorrow once he has a good idea how to court her. He couldn't lose her to this war like he had lost everyone else.
