In Chikanobu Yōshū s "Chiyoda no Ōoku: Hina Haiken" (1896), the scene depicts numerous people viewing the Hina dolls in the Ōoku. While depicting the Ōoku was prohibited during the Edo period, such depictions became commonplace during the Meiji era.
楊洲周延『千代田之大奥 雛拝見』(明治29年)では、大勢の人々が大奥のひな人形を見る様子が描かれています。江戸時代、大奥を描くことは禁じられていましたが、明治になって描かれるようになりました。
