amber - share an unpopular opinion that you may have.
I really have troubles coming up with one because I seldom share strong opinions in the first place and a lot of opinions that are “unpopular” in the public are rather popoular on tumblr or vice versa. But I’ll try:
I really dislike how the “college/university student with sleep deprivation” is being normalized and sometimes glorified by either other students or the media. Yes, there are a lot of students who struggle with this issue, especially during exams. And although it is nothing to be ashamed of it’s not a desirable or “natural” thing either. People with actual (mental) problems might not get the help they need (because it’s considered normal), while people who actually manage to keep sleeping in healthy doses get told they are not doing enough studying work done.
cinnamon - if you had to live in a time period different than the present, which would you choose and where?
Japan in the 18th century, because I had a lot of classes dealing with the time period and I’m curious how daily life actually felt like. Or ancient rome because I didn’t learn latin for nothing
