It had only been a few months since the Harmon family moved into the house and they were all dead. It wasn’t surprising, really. Caleb had only been in the house for a few hours and the sharp end of a knife had somehow found it’s way between his eyebrows. It was that real estate BITCH’s fault, or so he thought.
Caleb hadn’t shown himself to the new family yet. He had spent most of his time moping around with his head hanging low. 'Missing' was too much of a meager word to describe the intensity of Caleb's longing for his still-living boyfriend. But, there was no way to get a message to him - no way to get him to come to the house... Or, was there?
Tate had his mother on the outside. She could get a message to his boyfriend, but Caleb couldn’t directly approach Tate - no way. The new girl could do it for him, though; he just needed to convince her to do so. What was her name? Violet? Violet! It was time to make his presence known.
Caleb drifted across the house and into Violet’s room, not yet revealing himself. It was strange... In order to allow people to see him, Caleb had to... It was indescribable - like a switch in his brain. Violet laid on her bed, writing in a journal. The young man floated down to lay beside her.
“Hello!” He grinned, allowing the dead girl to see him. Caleb spoke with a lifted tone to his voice, as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening.
