I haven't had a nightmare like that...in a long time. It wasn't so much like of my vivid, sequential dreams, but more like bits and pieces of different stories. Horrific death after horrific death... 

The first one, I remember the clearest. A man was traveling through some...dilapidated ruin of a housing district. Or a school. He was looking for these three boys who had gone missing maybe a week prior and...well, he didn't live much longer after finding the first. 

He found the boy twisted, almost fused to the wall in pure agony, something moving, writhing within him. The boy was consumed from the inside out, filled to the brim and beyond with a swarm of white, the things coming out of every hole.

It didn't take very long for the man to choke on them as well. 

The second most vivid was of a girl. This young woman was looking for her sister who had run away after getting into a fight with her...boyfriend or something. Eventually, she found her sister, but she also was....broken. She was limp in a chair, mouth gaping, eyes sunken, face...twisted. Her body was covered in cracks and it seemed as though she would crumble into dust by the touch of even a small breeze. Again, the sister would share the same fate, whatever having torn the soul from the other finding her as well soon after. 

There were others. Many others, but most of them not as...strong in my memory. More things about being consumed, from the inside out or otherwise. Being torn apart. Slowly. Being ground into mush. Drowning. Something about a carnival and children and dogs and trees and fire. 

Someone saying "Every mortal thing is just food for something else." 

There were even detailed descriptions of the people. Like I could tell where they were, who they were. The man as a heavier, balding black man in his late forties, he was part of the rescue team. The boy was also of color and...maybe seven years old and liked to play soccer. I know they weren't in the US. The girl and her sister were from Spain. They were both students. 

ETC.

I really wish I hadn't slept last night.

What is it with me and having these horribly vivid, creepy ass dreams? I haven't had time to write down the others before the details faded into the back of my head but this one was about:

A husband and wife return to their coastal home home after 20 years where their three children (two girls and a boy) were swallowed by the sea. They came to cleanse the past and burn the old home along with the rest of their rotting property, but the kids seem to have an opinion of their own.

There were plenty of sinister parts, I know, but the last thing I remember was the father walking with the ghost(?) of the youngest daughter with a large can of gasoline, so I'm not sure how this story might have ended.

It was a cliff coast surrounded by a thick, wooded area, so I'm thinking Northern coast somewhere.  

I feel like I'm gonna turn around and find a waterlogged dead kid staring at me.

I don't know if I'm having nightmares because i'm falling apart

or if I'm falling apart because of the nightmares.

You know those kind of dream/nightmares where there's just SO MUCH GOING ON that you can't really remember what happened inside your head once you wake up, but the feeling that you wake up with just lingers on and on so you kind of have an idea what it might have been about and...

Yeah.

So this dude on fire is getting annoying.

I think I need a nap..

Hopefully I don't dream of Mr Faceless-And-On-Fire again.

Zombie dreams have never really bothered be before, but this one was...strange. It was too vivid, with a complicated "plot" and certain people "close to me" becoming infected.

And then there was the faceless guy on fire but he's beginning to become a recurring factor..

Last night's nightmare featured twins.

A boy and a girl with blond hair.

The girl's eyes were always on fire and the boy's eyes were missing, black seeping from the empty sockets.

I remember seeing things as if through a bad recording device; visual distortions all around. Also most of the faces I saw were...messed up in one way or another. Smeared, missing parts, etc. 

These are getting ridiculous.
