Niketa grew up in a port city on a small island in Unova with her parents and sister. She spent the majority of her time playing outdoors with her sister and being a carefree little girl, until her father was lost at sea during a terrible storm. Forced to take over the family fishing business with her sister in his stead, Niketa grew up fast and and worked hard. Working all her life in a small village, she knew very little of the world beyond her island until Priscilla's team came through. She joined up with them in hopes of finding a better way to support her family and see the world.

Niketa is serious and hard working and utterly baffled by modern society. Although she has learned much, many things others take for granted are entirely new to her. She is extremely forward, lacking a sense of social rhythm or tact, but is a quick learner when people are kind enough to educate her. She seems to have to have no sense of humor (though it is likely hers is just vastly different from the norm) and even less patience for wasting time. She is driven and sees no point in dilly-dallying and makes no secret of this.

She currently lives with Venus, who is kind enough to extend her absurd wealth to making sure Niketa survives in the city.
