Actually. You know me, you know how it goes
Odysseus telling dad jokes to himself as he looks out to the sea on Calypso's island. Trying to come up with new ones to get his mind off of everything. Telling jokes while he's alone on his raft. Every once in a while he goes "that was shit" or he chuckles to himself. But he cracks a joke and no one laughs or scoffs back. Only the waves crash and the clouds thunder in response. Once he's finally home, maybe he's alone and he says something to himself out of habit. But this time, behind him a voice scoffs "that was shit" or laughs in response. And when he turns his head he sees Telemachus grinning at him. Someone finally hears him, and it's the boy he always wanted to tell the jokes to in the first place :'')
