Cat and Mouse || Earthquake || Niko & Bianca
Bianca had gone to the ball with Benny, but parted from him to go and tidy herself up a bit after insisting he dance with her for a good part of the evening. She'd fixed her hair, which was done up nicely, little tendrils on either side of her face framing it while showing off her elegant earrings. She powdered her nose and re-spritzed her perfume. Lip gloss was reapplied as well, finishing off the look. She looked good and smiled at her reflection.
She headed out of the bathrooms and was making her way to the main ballroom to find her date and dance partner once more when the ground shook. She'd experienced earthquakes back home in Hungary and was all too familiar with the feeling. A second rumble made her realize this wasn't just going to go away and knowledge of the building made her aware it simply wasn't stable. But her worry for Benny overpowered any rational thought and she took off running. "Benny!" She called out. "Benny! Benny Darling!" But things were falling and people were running in the other direction. Where was he? But she was shoved to the side and into a room in someone's panic and though she tried to slap the culprit she was already on the floor, her head having collided with something on the way left her a bit light headed and whoosy. The wind knocked out of her she managed to pull herself under a desk a mere foot away and wait out the quake. She'd have to find Benny later. And she would find him.
Finally the quake ended, and she crawled out from under the desk, assessing the damages done to herself and her dress. Dusty and dirty, the dress was torn... but mostly whole. Now she just needed to find her partner. However there was someone else in the room and she turned to him. "Are you alright?"
