having a rare day off from the fire station, reese planned to spend it catching up on uni work and sleep, but the latter hadn’t come to him too easily. he didn’t like just sleeping when he could be out doing something, and this time of year work was always busy. skipping rope with a web-rope he’d made, he noticed a familiar figure outside the station. ❝ so, what’s the 411 today ?? anything big go down ?? ❞ his spider physiology and water manipulation came in handy as a firefighter he’d learned, even though he really only used the latter around others.

lexi wasn’t too sure what was wrong with her lately since she rarely ever got sick, but that was exactly what it felt like. like she had the flu or some kind of bug. ❝ hey, ❞ she greeted with a small smile as she spotted the younger woman. taking a quick sip of her peppermint tea, she then sighed. being half mortal sucked sometimes. ❝ i’m not feeling super great this morning so i’m probably not going to make training today. i could still try to help with your powers, though, if you want. ❞
