I was wandering through Obsidian Heights city, camera in hand, when I stumbled upon these two women standing side by side on a quiet street corner. The nun-like attire of the woman on the left caught my eye at first, but it was the subtle contrast between their expressions and settings that really drew me in. The woman with glasses seems to be lost in thought, her gaze drifting off into the distance as if recalling a memory from years past. She's dressed for everyday life, yet there's something about her attire that hints at a more traditional or formal context. The woman on the right, however, exudes a sense of quiet introspection. Her sunglasses and casual top suggest she's not trying to draw attention to herself, but the way she holds her headpiece and veil reveals a deep understanding of its significance. As I snapped this diptych, I couldn't help but wonder what their stories are – how they came to be here, side by side, yet worlds apart in terms of attire and demeanor. What unites them, if anything? The lack of discernible context only adds to the mystery.
