JOHNNY AND NILE MARR: ALBERT HALL, MANCHESTER

Manchester’s guitarist legend Johnny Marr and son Nile for the first time sharing a stage and being the support act to his dad. Nile joined him for the encore on this 2nd of two nights residency at Albert Hall, Manchester. I’ve seen Nile perform a number of times in his band Man Made and playing with other artists back in 2013. Tonight he was on fire, confident and at ease chatting with his dads beloved fans.

Johnny is well, just Johnny Fucking Marr....a guy who I was introduced to back in the 80′s when he was working in an basement clothes shop, just before he started The Smiths, an unknown kid, who was delighted in showing us his new guitar. As time went on I saw a band on TOTPS called The Smiths and shouted out, hey its that Johnny from the clothes shop. Enough of my waffle, just read Mike AInscoe’s review here:
