‘ the Frostfangs are as cruel as any place the gods have made. ‘

“Wait!” Brienne had watched a few seconds before finding her voice. “Don’t touch that plant. It’s hogsbane. The sap burns your skin.”
@nilremris liked for a starter.
“Have you come to gloat? Come to tell me ‘I told you so’?”
@nilremris liked for a starter and got.... QUEEN ARYA!
The North was Bran’s by right, and yet Arya had taken it first. She was the queen, and her brother the rightful Lord of Winterfell. It worked for them, even if she had to subject to meeting diplomats from other lands when they desired to speak to the ruler of the kingdom, rather than the Warden of the North.
Today was no different. A man, who’s name she only knew to be Merlin, was to speak with her. He was from another kingdom, far from Westeros, and it was perhaps one of the reasons she had agreed to speak to him. Interested in his land, his Camelot.
“You are here for.. King Arthur Pendragon?” Her voice was questioning, as the man was lead into the great hall of Winterfell.
“stand aside, merlin.” she didn’t want to involve him in this. she wanted him free of her burdens. more importantly, shameful though it was, she wanted him gone because she wanted herself and lancelot safe. we will not be safe if he knows the truth. “go back to the castle.” // @nilremris / ♥’d ; open

@nilremris senua & merlin.
“ we all carry our sins. ”
six of crows starters - accepting.
Snape’s gaze suddenly averted from the wizard whose words and countenance carried a solemn and ancient wisdom, one that now stood in stark contraposition with his youthful features.
“But only few of us expiate them.” living to atone wasn’t enough; absolution was the martyr’s laurel, and a life entirely sacrificed to the cause the only way. Peace would finally follow, but everything in between was merely punishment.
