🔪😔🍕🎨
🔪 which muse would you most likely be enemies with
Not including my villainous characters, it would be Atsu. He’s spoiled, somewhat rude and self-conceited, and in general I have a hard time getting along with the “chaotic good” mindset of helping people with no regard to laws.
😔 which muse is the biggest spoilsport
Kasim is a wet blanket in terms of just no participating in anything, but he won’t stop things, usually. He’ll just leave and let people suffer the consequences on their own.
When he does care about you, though, he can be somewhat of a spoilsport because he worries about said consequences. In addition, he’s got that nagging “what if someone in authority finds out about this” voice. He doesn’t like getting into trouble.
🍕 which muse is a terrible cook
Atsu is the worst one, but Nimira is a close second. Seeing as how she’s a duergar, her tastes are downright toxic to anyone without the resilience. Her group members have gotten sick partaking in her food and drink before. What makes it worse is that more often than not, her food is just boiled and salted anyway??? So either it tastes like nothing or you get sick.
🎨 which muse is the most artistic
Kasim. He has the “artistic eye” so to speak, looking for inspiration where he can find it, and he is deeply devoted to his weaving.
1 thru 5 for Nimira
1. Holiday headcanon
To my knowledge, Duergar don’t celebrate a lot of holidays. They’re way too pragmatic to waste entire days of productivity on dancing around, and wasting their resources on useless frivolities.
This mentality has stayed with Nimira, so she will likely find surface races’ obsession with making a big celebration out of everything really strange, if not a bit obnoxious.
2. Cooking headcanon
She is an effective cook, but not a tasty one. The food she makes will get you filled up, and you’ll get the nutrients you need, but she doesn’t use many spices. In her mind, you’re better off getting used to simple and bland food, because you’re not going to always have expensive spices at hand.
3. Sleeping headcanon
Nimira sleeps like a goddamn rock, and she hates it. She doesn’t like how vulnerable she is, and having to rely on someone else to keep watch while she just lays completely knocked out for 8 hours stresses her out. Doesn’t help that she sometimes snores, which is like a goddamn dinner bell for any monster in a mile radius.
Having a safe space to sleep becomes top priority for her. It’s why she always tries to find some kind of bed chamber that can be sealed off. I don’t know if she’d be willing to just sleep in some random chamber and hope for the best.
4. Driving headcanon
Nimira has not once in her life piloted a vehicle. She’s not even gotten to ride an animal. At this point, the idea of it kinda scares her because OH MY GOD THIS THING IS SO BIG AND IF I CRASH I DIE.
5. Bathing/showering headcanon
Nimira... Doesn’t clean up as often as she probably should. Spending most of her life in the wilderness of the Underdark has lowered her cleanliness standards, with things like crawling through spores, mud, stale water, monster mucus, etc, not to mention fighting tons of slimy beasts all culminating in a bit of a “I’m just going to get dirty in 2 seconds anyway” attitude. She’ll splash herself with water, of course, but getting enough soap to stay clean in an environment like that isn’t worth it.
It’s not a great habit, but she’s never really had it put to question.
Apparently, outlawing violent thought hasn't made it go away. All you've done is force people to share it in back alleys.
B'Elanna, please. Try to relax.
Oh, you have got to be kidding.
Let me get this straight. Not only are you going to read my mind, you're going to record my thoughts.
Yes.
I guess it'd be pretty tough to keep a secret from you, hmm?
EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ 'MAGIC UNDER GLASS' AND 'MAGIC UNDER STONE' BY JACLYN DOLAMORE!
The two books follow the characters Nimira, a poor Trouser girl from the country of Tassim, and the lost fairy prince, Erris, as they work to free him from his clockwork bondage. Full of romance and sweet heroism, Dolamore spins a web of intricate plot lines and characters. If you fancy magic and tortured romance, these books are for you. I assure you that you will be screaming at the pages with absolute horror and oo-ing and ahh-ing with the tenderness of these two books.
