Ordered my Elsa Fabric~~!!

I finally just buckled down and freaking ordered it. Its so stupid expensive. but then again its mostly just shipping. I really hope its as perfect in person as it is in the pictures,. Its going to take like a week to process then hopefully it'll ship out fast. Here's hoping I didn't just drop a butt-load of dough on some crappy crap fabric. I've been a little depressed lately so my apologies for the pessimism. I'll update when possible with some flippin pics! THe only things I need to find? purchase now are my shoes, wig and the rest of my sequins.

looking at ebay for elsa wigs and shoes

and I see alot out there. Like theres alot of stuff to be had for the frozen cosplay franchise, but like half of it looks like they took the pic off someone elses listing or site. So I'm not sure what I can trust on there. What really isn't helping is that I am inanely picky about what I want. Then again.... next week is october. Maybe I'll manage to find something locally and save on some shipping. Unless anyone know some more reliable place to get wigs. I could also ask a friend of mine who works at a costume shop....=.= cosplay is hard.

sequins everywhere!!

Went to order more sequins. I still couldn't get anymore of the cornflower one, because I think they're out of stock atm. BUT!! I did buy some more of some other colors I needed and some rhinestones too! So I am pleased with what I have so far! OH!! PLUS! I managed to find the PERFECT fabric for the skirt. But its HELLA expensive. So I will have to wait for another paycheck, becuase I still need money for other things. lol. I'm please so far! Now to wait for my things to come in the mail!! :D SO EXCITED

Elsa cosplay updatE!!: I went to purchase more sequins and the ones I want are gone. FUck. well. I emailed the company and hoepfully I hear from them soon. Maybe if it;ll take a while I'll just order something else this paycheck. Like a wig or shoes.

SEQUINS MOFO

SO I ordered several different kinds of sequins and I now know which ones and which size I will be buying. but HOLY SHIT. I really underestimated the amount of them I will be needing. Luckily they aren't too expensive. LOLOLOLOLOL

this elsa cosplay is gonna be rad, but

I think my biggest annoyance is trying to find reference pictures for it. Like SERIOUSLY!! I've looked at screen caps from the movie and nearly all of the promotional art. SHIT! I've even looked at some of the art direct from the disney website. But they are all HORRENDOUSLY INCONSISTANT.  Some of them have her dress as ice blue, some of them its more teal, sometimes its more aqua. its frustrating when im trying to get anything for it when I'm not really sure what its supposed to look like. and its not just that. some of the promo stuff she has these little rhinestones on her dress, others she doesn't. and her hair and make up change too!! One pic I saw it was white and extra poofy, her eyes look really did up and then in another her hair is like ultra blonde and more refined and chill. 

SO ultimately what I'm going to have to do is pick what I want and stick with it. I'm going to get it as perfect to my own standards as possible and be happy with what I made. Because as frustrated as this makes me its going to be fun. and not matter what I'll look hella fab.
