Ah! I answered something like this recently actually. I basically peruse all over google and other websites for my background and pixels. For the current theme i’ve got, I gathered the lanterns and the background from tumblr. Here’s a link to the blog: http://pixel-background.tumblr.com

(As I said in a similar ask, I have no idea whether the background was actually created by the owner of the blog and it’s sadly shut down now so whats on there is whats staying there…)

If you’re just looking for banners/ dividers collectively and have never used them before, you need  to make sure you have a theme that supports them!

i spend so many hours trying to find the right background online~ (im such a perfectionist oh ym god)

I tend to lean more towards pixel art or pastel backgrounds with minimal 'action' so you guys can see the posts better?? I think i actually found this one rummaging through tumblr’s tags so I’ll link you to the blog here: http://pixel-background.tumblr.com
