Nina Ullrich stands for a bold aesthetic and functional minimalism, a monochrome color palette completes the simple appearance of the well-selected accessories line. The laid back leather envelope clutches and belts are handmade in an intricate design process in her London studio and capture the spirit of the British capital. The detailed edge work conveys the brands philosophy for exquisite artistry.
Behind the refined luxury surface hides a rebellious core: plain cuts feature deliberately edgy details, as found everywhere in the streets of London. Part studded, part perforated with fine silver finish hardware they capture the cities penchant for subcultural movements such as rock, punk and goth. The all black clutches are available in several sizes - functioning for the different needs of their wearer. Only the finest vegetable tanned skins from Belgium are used to create this collection of elegant bags, belts and true statement pieces.
The leather work is complemented by a jewellery collection featuring sleek long silver crosses that symbolise its wearers courage; just like warrior swords rather than as what they are known for in christian tradition.
Having a background in fashion and knitwear, the designer discovered leather as an equally versatile material much later but figured that it perfectly meets her demands for a technical design approach and the intimate, strong process of still making things by hand.
