Nine Patch 75 x 75 by tell tale threads Via Flickr: What do you do with a variety of 9-Patches from a guild block of the month? Sit and wait until inspiration strikes! After trying various colour sashings, I went back to white even though none of the 9-Patches have white in them. The small red squares pulled out the reddy-browny patches and the chartreuse 9-Patches framed and cooled the border. It also helped use up my chartreuse scraps! This quilt top and backing went to Camp Stitchalot with me and I took advantage of the empty table space on the first day, to pin baste. Amanda-Jean Nyberg of Crazy Mom Quilts helped me pin-baste and she suggested the wavy line free-motion quilting which I did on the diagonal. As always - a bit scary to start, but it was amazingly easy and very effective. The quilting shows up more in the photo of the back of the quilt.
Multiple Nine-patch in Blue, Completed. Each one of the small squares is 1".
