She folds the paper and sets it between them before getting off the bench. There's a moment where she hesitates and hovers beside him.
Sungjong takes a deep breath, "Why did you kill yourself?"
She carefully fiddles with the task of putting on her gloves and smiles sadly, "I thought that even a place like this would be better than the real world" not meeting his eyes as she answers.
And Sungjong wishes so desperately for things to be different, wonders what it would have been like to grow up with Minha living next door, asking her for an extra pencil at school. Would they have fallen in love? Would they have saved eachother?
Minha smiles at him and it's one that isn't tinged with sadness.
He watches her take a seat by the window and looks at his watch.
He has five minutes to make it to his platform.
