Jim gave a sleepy grunt when his mattress dipped low. It was enough for his mind to switch from dreams to conciousness, making him want to childishly pull his pillow over his frumpled blond tresses.

Despite that, the captain forced his eyes open. “..whoizzit?”

Enterprise wasn't really sure what was going on. He woke up in a science room with no one around and he was pretty confused because he couldn't remember what happened before he ended up on the floor. He remembered everything else, the crew, the layout of the ship and his name but nothing specifically about himself. He just decided to regain himself and straighten out his blue shirt before looking for someone he thought could help. Chekov just happened to be the first one he saw.

"Chekov." Enterprise smiled as he approached him, completely unaware of what he actually was. Enterprise thought he was like Chekov, just another human, he was completely unaware of being an android meant to transport memory files.
