mack getting backlash for things most of the normal college guys do. people are so weird about him. let him live a little. he literally broke the franchise record and had 4th most points in the league. it’s not like he’s doing these things and it’s negatively affecting his hockey. it’s normal college activities and idk why people think it’s humiliating? and about the captaincy, mack has shown no indication of wanting to fight sid about it at all and idk where people are getting these ideas. they probably saw someone rpf-ing and took it as a fact. some people are so passive aggressive about mack. maybe they resent him because he’s better than their fav players.

Honestly there is no part of me that believes Mack would even put up a fight to keep the C. Sidney Crosby is someone who pretty much everybody in the league (and definitely everybody on that team) looks up to and Mack has made his admiration of Sidney apparent on multiple occasions.
That said, I also totally see Crosby wanting to pass the torch to Macklin and take this opportunity to show him the ropes.
Either way, the only fight I see happening is gonna be about each of them wanting to giving it to the other lmao
