I kindof want to play Vorona! But I don't think I have the attention ortime for another muse; aside from that, I don't think there's acharacter that I've wanted to play that I haven't been able to :3

♦ What's an AU that you've always wanted?

IALWAYS WANTED SOME KIND OF HISTORICAL AU? Though I realize it's notterribly realistic because “medieval” and “Victorian” do notfit the fact that she is Japanese, but for the sake of fun I don'tmind suspending my belief for a little while and pretending it's...not strange... at all...

♪♩♫ Does music inspire your muse? What's one song on your playlist that reminds you of your muse?

Thisis hard because I don't really pay attention to song lyrics. I thinkErika would love and be inspired by music, specifically animeopenings, anything fun and exciting.

As fora song that fits her, I think this one reminds me of that darkertorturous side.

☽ Do you like writing angst? Why or why not?

YES IDO. It lets me explore deep, dark parts of Erika which is my goalhere, and it's so fun! I love putting my muse and others intotroubling situations, BUT there has to be a happy ending. Thisdoesn't necessarily mean “everyone smiling and in love and happy,”but... basically everything has to turn out OK in the end.

▼ Do you keep your character in character even if they are one of the worst people in the world?

YESCERTAINLY. I do my absolute best with Erika. She is grabby, she isshameless, she is dirty and sordid and a sadist. But she's also agood person, and fun-loving and invasive and REALLY AGGRAVATING.

I tryto keep all parts of Erika in mind when I write her, I do my best tokeep her close to canon. Any “changes” I make to her are just metrying to fill in the blanks.

Hello there! I had pre-ordered the zine - I had gotten the early bird with the added postcards and sticker sheet.. however I was wondering how orders were going to be handled for Canadian buyers? The postal service is apparently shutting down this Friday and didn't know if it was being shipped out using regular postal mail or some other service - such as, fedex as an example. If it is being shipped out using regular postal service, would Canadian orders be held onto until the strike lifts?

Thank you for bringing this up! I had to go ask around in regards to the best way to handle this, and it seems that if the strike does go through then there’s no choice but to wait until the strike is lifted. :c However, if anyone from Canada explicitly needs it by the intended date, they’re free to contact me at [email protected] and I can go look and see if something can’t be worked out.

The day started off like any other; Luka woke up and got dressed, read with her cat, and went to work. The day was over now, and as the sun set and cast shadows over the streets of Ikebukuro, she decided to make a quick stop before going home. As she browsed the isles, she took a step back, accidentally bumping into someone behind her. 

The woman blushed a bit as she quickly spun around, embarrassed. “I-I’m sorry--” She stopped, staring at the stranger in front of her. She knew she had never seen him before, but something about the man looked so familiar to her, as if she had met him once before. She knew it was stupid and attempted to shake the feeling. She knew there was no way she knew him.

 “I-I’m sorry, I... Didn’t mean to bump into you...” She told him shyly.

A Rough Day || Israel & Shizuo

Starter for ningenaishite:

     When Shizuo left for work that Tuesday morning, he couldn’t stop his excitement--a few days earlier, the blond had reached out to Israel to see about having the raven over for dinner. After the couple times Israel invited Shizuo over to read to him and eat dinner, the bodyguard felt it was only right for him to return the gesture. His apartment was already tidy and all Shizuo had to do was stop by a supermarket after dinner to pick up a few last minute ingredients--the blond did not cook very often, but he wanted to do his best with the meal for Israel.

     By the time Shizuo finished with work for the day, however, his demeanor had entirely changed. After several threats to his brother, numerous attempts on his own life, and someone managing to land a punch on Tom, Shizuo’s mood was entirely down. Filled with self-loathing, frustration, and anger, the bodyguard was like a bomb needing just one small thing to set him off. Because of the horrible day, Shizuo completely forgot about his invitation to Israel and decided to drown his worries in alcohol.

     The blond first stopped at the bar near his apartment where he finished off six shots of vodka and three beers in under an hour--and once he grew bored of the people there, Shizuo stumbled to the convenience store and picked up a bottle of brandy and a 32-pack of beer, along with several cups of ramen. Even with his incredibly high metabolism, such an amount of alcohol took its toll on the bodyguard. By 7 o’clock--the time Israel said he could be over--Shizuo was entirely intoxicated, lounging on the couch and watching a cat-show, completely unaware that he was supposed to have dinner prepared for his friend.
