Bandai Korea Announces Jordy Tamagotchi!

After teasing the first original Tamagotchi, Bandai Korea has just announced the Jordy Tamagotchi! As expected, this device is based off of the NINIZ mascot character named Jordy. This device is based on the Tamagotchi Nano platform, similar to the Gudetama and PAC-MAN Tamagotchi.

Caregivers of the Jordy Tamagotchi will be raising Jordy, and based on the care provided, and games played, will determine what Jordy will take on career wise as an adult! It looks like throughout the growth process Jordy will be experimenting with different career paths, and can even end up unemployment. The screenshots provided display some of the career paths Jordy can take, which seem like a farmer, pianist, an athlete, a teacher, and more!

The device features six mini games, and a bunch of adorable animations. Oddly enough this will be the first Tamagotchi nano to feature poop! Caregivers will be tasked with cleaning up after Jordy.

Something we also super excited about is that the Jordy Tamagotchi will feature an adorable Jordy case! Although this Tamagotchi will only come in some mint green shell with Jordy’s adorable face, you’ll also be able to purchase the bundle and get the adorable silicone case. The back of the case features Jordy’s face, and signature pencil in the space of his body.

The Jordy Tamagotchi is a SUPER adorable collaboration that seems like a must have for Tamagotchi fans across the globe, however this device is exclusive to South Korea. Pre-orders are available starting on Thursday, December 4th at 10:00AM, and will close on Wednesday, December 9th. The official release date for the Jordy Tamagotchi is set for Friday December 18th, 2020. No pricing information has been provided by Bandai Korea at this time. Stay tuned for more information!
