So... I've been on Tumblr as a budding artist for about a year and a half, and have scoured this site for amazing artists throughout the entire time... So how is it that in all that time I've never seen your art??? Your color, your composition, themes, lighting, everything is INCREDIBLE!!! You are truly skilled!!!! This is the kind of stuff that should have hundreds of thousands of notes! I'm very in love with your work! How long would you say it took you to get to your current skill level?

Oh wow, thanks! tbh I still have TONS to learn and improve (thanks god!) and seriously I gave up on understanding how popularity works, sometimes you connect with your audience sometimes you don’t, you can try and make an educated guess (and boy do I try) an it might work but what’s really important is to keep working to reach that point where your art becomes impossible to ignore whatever the subject. Good draftsmanship yo :D

Anyhow, I picked my first tablet at 15, started thinking seriously at 19 and I’m currently 22 you do the maths ;P 

in all honesty tho, I made most of my progress during this last year and a half: quit my day job, moved back to my mom’s went through a mayor depression got sorta kicked out, moved with a friend and started taking commissions to pay the bills. I never stopped painting during the whole ride :) plus I take notes on every art education that’s out there, tutorials, videos, podcasts, articles, I live and breath for that stuff :D
